Ground support equipment is essential for rocketry.
You need a launch pad and launch controller to launch your rockets from. You also need wadding (or re-usable options) to protect your parachute each time.
We recommend the durable Klima launch pad and their launch controllers let you install two PP3 9v batteries at once for some extra launching juice! The Klima pad can take a 3mm or 6mm rod as well as a launch rail if required for larger rockets.
The estes pads are also great and the Porta pad E is very good for mid sized rockets also. - Schulen und Vereine
Bulk packs for schools and clubs
You can shop for bulk packs of rockets here. We list the packs of rockets on their own with bundles on the page so you can add everything you need in one click.
The bundles include motors, launch pad(s), launch controller(s), batteries and wadding. All you will need to run your club or rocket workshop will be the required tools and consumables for construction. Rocket manuals are on each page so you can check but in general with these starter kits you will likely need the following although not all of these are required by all kits.
Some wood glue (We like gorilla glue but all sorts of PVA should be OK).

Bergewatte ist erforderlich, um zu verhindern, dass Ihr Fallschirm oder Streamer durch Verbrennen oder Schmelzen in Ihrer Rakete beschädigt wird.
Wenn Ihr Motor oder Ihre Ausstoßladung bereit ist, Ihren Fallschirm auszuwerfen, entstehen extrem heiße Gase, die Ihr Bergungssystem beschädigen können. Wattierung ist daher unerlässlich, um diese Hitze zu absorbieren und nicht Ihren Fallschirm!
Es gibt nichts Schlimmeres als einen knusprig gebratenen Fallschirm nach dem ersten Start.
Wir bieten drei Hauptwattierungsoptionen an.
1) Estes Watteblätter
2) Klima Naturwatte
3) Wiederverwendbare Nomex-Wattierung
Die Estes-Watte ist das, was die meisten Leute kennen und worauf sie vertrauen. Sie funktioniert zuverlässig und man kann bei jedem Start die richtige Anzahl Blätter einlegen. Sie ist eine großartige Option für alle Raketenstarts.
Klima hat seine Wattepackungen aus umweltfreundlichen Hanffasern entwickelt.
Diese 100 % biologisch abbaubare Watte eignet sich ebenso gut zum Schutz Ihres Rückgewinnungssystems und erfüllt die Brandschutzklasse B1.
Abhängig von der Größe Ihrer Rakete sollten Sie mit kleineren Raketen aus der großen Tasche 40–50 Raketenstarts schaffen.
Unsere Nomex-Wattierung ist ein hitzebeständiger Stoff, der immer wieder verwendet werden kann. Befestigen Sie ihn einfach an Ihrer Gummischnur und wickeln Sie ihn um Ihren Fallschirm.
Alle drei Optionen funktionieren einwandfrei und Sie können diejenige wählen, die Ihnen am besten gefällt. Nomex eignet sich hervorragend für größere Raketen, bei denen sonst ziemlich viel konventionelle Wattierung verwendet würde.
Da die natürliche Wattierung von Klimas ebenfalls biologisch abbaubar ist, empfehlen wir Ihnen dringend, auch diese in Betracht zu ziehen.
Sie können auch wattefreie Optionen wie Kolben und Leitbleche installieren, um die Notwendigkeit einer Watte ganz zu vermeiden! Wir haben alle diese Artikel in unserem Shop, also schauen Sie sich bitte um.
