Ground support equipment is essential for rocketry.
You need a launch pad and launch controller to launch your rockets from. You also need wadding (or re-usable options) to protect your parachute each time.
We recommend the durable Klima launch pad and their launch controllers let you install two PP3 9v batteries at once for some extra launching juice! The Klima pad can take a 3mm or 6mm rod as well as a launch rail if required for larger rockets.
The estes pads are also great and the Porta pad E is very good for mid sized rockets also. - Escuelas y clubes
Bulk packs for schools and clubs
You can shop for bulk packs of rockets here. We list the packs of rockets on their own with bundles on the page so you can add everything you need in one click.
The bundles include motors, launch pad(s), launch controller(s), batteries and wadding. All you will need to run your club or rocket workshop will be the required tools and consumables for construction. Rocket manuals are on each page so you can check but in general with these starter kits you will likely need the following although not all of these are required by all kits.
Some wood glue (We like gorilla glue but all sorts of PVA should be OK).

Se necesita guata de recuperación para evitar que su paracaídas o serpentina se dañe al quemarse o derretirse en su cohete.
Cuando su motor o carga de eyección está listo para expulsar su paracaídas, estos crean gases extremadamente calientes que pueden dañar su sistema de recuperación. ¡Por lo tanto, la guata es esencial para absorber este calor en lugar del paracaídas!
No hay nada peor que un paracaídas asado y crujiente después del primer lanzamiento.
Ofrecemos tres opciones principales de guata.
1) Sábanas de guata Estes
2) Guata natural Klima
3) Guata reutilizable Nomex
La guata Estes es lo que la mayoría de la gente conoce y en la que confía, funciona de manera confiable y puede colocar la cantidad correcta de hojas para cada lanzamiento. Es una gran opción para todos los lanzamientos de cohetes.
Klima ha desarrollado sus paquetes de guata a partir de fibra de cáñamo, que es respetuosa con el medio ambiente.
Esta guata 100% biodegradable funciona igual de bien para proteger su sistema de recuperación y cumple con la clase de protección contra incendios B1.
Dependiendo del tamaño de su cohete, debería lograr realizar entre 40 y 50 lanzamientos de cohetes más pequeños desde la bolsa grande.
Nuestra guata Nomex es una tela resistente al calor que se puede usar una y otra vez, simplemente conéctela a su cable de choque y envuélvala alrededor de su paracaídas.
Las tres opciones funcionan perfectamente y puedes elegir la que más te guste. Nomex es excelente para cohetes más grandes que de otro modo usarían bastante guata convencional.
Asimismo, la guata natural de Klimas es biodegradable, por lo que te recomendamos encarecidamente que la consideres también.
