Ground support equipment is essential for rocketry.
You need a launch pad and launch controller to launch your rockets from. You also need wadding (or re-usable options) to protect your parachute each time.
We recommend the durable Klima launch pad and their launch controllers let you install two PP3 9v batteries at once for some extra launching juice! The Klima pad can take a 3mm or 6mm rod as well as a launch rail if required for larger rockets.
The estes pads are also great and the Porta pad E is very good for mid sized rockets also. - Scuole e club
Bulk packs for schools and clubs
You can shop for bulk packs of rockets here. We list the packs of rockets on their own with bundles on the page so you can add everything you need in one click.
The bundles include motors, launch pad(s), launch controller(s), batteries and wadding. All you will need to run your club or rocket workshop will be the required tools and consumables for construction. Rocket manuals are on each page so you can check but in general with these starter kits you will likely need the following although not all of these are required by all kits.
Some wood glue (We like gorilla glue but all sorts of PVA should be OK).

L'ovatta di recupero è necessaria per evitare che il tuo paracadute o lo streamer vengano danneggiati bruciando o sciogliendosi nel razzo.
Quando il motore o la carica di espulsione sono pronti per lanciare il paracadute, questi creano gas estremamente caldi che possono danneggiare il sistema di recupero. L'ovatta è quindi indispensabile per assorbire questo calore al posto del paracadute!
Non c'è niente di peggio di un paracadute croccante arrostito dopo il primo lancio.
Offriamo tre opzioni principali di ovatta.
1) Lenzuola di ovatta Estes
2) Ovatta naturale Klima
3) Ovatta riutilizzabile Nomex
L'ovatta Estes è ciò che la maggior parte delle persone conosce e di cui si fida, funziona in modo affidabile e puoi inserire il numero corretto di fogli per ogni lancio. È un'ottima opzione per tutti i lanci di razzi.
Klima ha sviluppato i suoi zaini di ovatta in fibra di canapa che rispetta l'ambiente.
Questa ovatta biodegradabile al 100% funziona altrettanto bene per proteggere il tuo sistema di recupero e soddisfa la classe di protezione antincendio B1.
A seconda delle dimensioni del tuo razzo dovresti riuscire a ottenere 40-50 lanci di razzi su razzi più piccoli dal big bag.
La nostra ovatta Nomex è un tessuto resistente al calore che può essere utilizzato più e più volte, basta attaccarlo al cavo elastico e avvolgerlo attorno al paracadute.
Tutte e tre le opzioni funzionano perfettamente e puoi scegliere quella che preferisci. Il Nomex è ottimo sui razzi più grandi che altrimenti utilizzerebbero una grande quantità di ovatta convenzionale.
Allo stesso modo l'ovatta naturale Klimas è biodegradabile quindi ti consigliamo vivamente di prendere in considerazione anche questa.
Puoi anche installare opzioni senza ovatta come pistoni e deflettori per evitare la necessità di qualsiasi ovatta! Abbiamo tutti questi articoli nel nostro negozio, quindi dai un'occhiata in giro.
