Ground support equipment is essential for rocketry.
You need a launch pad and launch controller to launch your rockets from. You also need wadding (or re-usable options) to protect your parachute each time.
We recommend the durable Klima launch pad and their launch controllers let you install two PP3 9v batteries at once for some extra launching juice! The Klima pad can take a 3mm or 6mm rod as well as a launch rail if required for larger rockets.

Bulk packs for schools and clubs
You can shop for bulk packs of rockets here. We list the packs of rockets on their own with bundles on the page so you can add everything you need in one click.
The bundles include motors, launch pad(s), launch controller(s), batteries and wadding. All you will need to run your club or rocket workshop will be the required tools and consumables for construction. Rocket manuals are on each page so you can check but in general with these starter kits you will likely need the following although not all of these are required by all kits.
Some wood glue (We like gorilla glue but all sorts of PVA should be OK).

De UKROC-competitie is een ongelooflijke kans voor scholen en clubs. Het is een geweldige competitie, waarin je samenwerkt om een raket te bouwen waarmee je veilig een ei kunt laten vliegen en ook andere doelen kunt raken.
Je hebt een raket nodig met een brutogewicht van niet meer dan 650 gram en de raket moet ook minimaal 650 mm hoog zijn. Er moeten twee luchtframes van verschillende afmetingen worden gebruikt, met een bredere aan de onderkant en een smallere aan de bovenkant. De bovenste buis mag een diameter van niet meer dan 57 mm hebben en de onderste buis mag een diameter van meer dan 63,5 mm hebben. De missie is om een ei veilig tot een hoogte van 250 meter (820 voet) te laten vliegen met een totale duur van 43-46 seconden.
Dit is een geweldige wedstrijd voor scholen, waarbij je onderweg veel kunt leren en ervaren.
We hebben heel veel onderdelen en hebben zelfs een aantal starterbundels samengesteld die perfect geschikt zijn voor het maken van je raket.
Er zijn twee hoofdbenaderingen voor de maat van uw lichaamsbuis en andere onderdelen daarom. We kunnen zowel Klima 75 als 50 mm luchtframes leveren met onze Klima 75/50 koppeling, die goed voldoet aan de regels van 2024. We hebben ook de BT70- en BT80-buis en onze eigen BT70/80-koppeling op voorraad, die deze keer ook uitstekend aansluiten bij de ontwerpvereisten.
