Vent holes calculator for altimeter vents in your rocket

When using altimeters in your rocket these typically rely on atmospheric pressure. There are types that use other sensors in addition, or some that don't use atmospheric pressure.
The majority of altimeters therefore use the external pressure of the air to determine your altitude. It is therefor essential that you make holes in your body tube to let the pressure equalise.
Single hole vs multiple holes?
A single hole will cause noise and incorrect data as this can be effected by the wind or just how your rocket is flying through the air. Therefore multiple holes uniformly spaced around your tube should be used.
The minimum workable number of holes is considered to be 3, although 4 or more is best.
