Bull Pup 12D model rocket from Estes

Estes says:

Get ready for an adrenaline-filled adventure with the Estes Bull Pup 12D model rocket. This highly detailed version of the USAF AGM-12D Bull Pup air to ground missile is perfect for sport scale enthusiasts who want to take their hobby to the next level.

Developed in the 1950s, the Bull Pup 12D remained in combat use until the 1970s, with over 30,000 built and used until it was decommissioned in the mid-80s.This rocket stands 15.6 inches tall and can reach up to 675 feet on Estes standard model rocket engines. With a colorful 12-inch parachute, the Bull Pup 12D recovers in style.

Bull Pup 12D comes with a large diameter, single-piece body tube, high-quality molded plastic tail and nose cone, and laser-cut wood fins, making it an excellent kit for building your skills. Authentic full-color waterslide decals are included to complete the look.

We say:

This is one of those rocketry classics that are easy to build but look really tricky. It has a full detailed colour decal set for that touch of realism for model builders.

With a bit of work you might shoehorn a 24mm motor mount into this pup but you will need to add compensating weight to the nose. SpaceCAD has the answers for stable flight!
