The Madcow Torrent is an advanced model rocket kit to construct. It features dual deployment and an electronics bay.
You will need a high power launch pad and can fly on G to J motors.
The motor mount is 38mm but you can put 29mm motors in with an adapter. Or of course get off the ground with a cluster of smaller motors!

The Madcow torrent kit is designed for those new to dual deployment and not sure where to start. Every part you need to build your rocket is in the kit.

  • CP Location - 1088mm from the tip of the nose cone.

A fun and challenging build for the serious Rocketeer!!

Includes

Everything you need except your construction supplies, motor retainer, launch pad, launch controller and motors. (And of course a launch site!!) No decals are included in this kit, it's a decorate yourself rocket.

Building suppliess
Here is a list of the majority of tools and items you will need for construction of this rocket.
  Pencil, Ruler & Masking tape.
  Hobby knife.
Adhesives (Epoxy clay / 5 minute epoxy / Wood glue)
Long dowel to spread glue inside the body tube.
  15 feet / 4.5m of shock cord.
  Drill bit selection.
  Sanding block.
  Set of standard rail buttons.
Acetone for cleaning up drips of epoxy. (Nail varnish remover).
  Disposable gloves.
Finishing supplies such as paint, sanding sealer, sandpaper (200 & 400 grit).
  Dust mask.
Motor retention for your chosen motor system.

Launch pad
This is a large rocket so a heavy duty launch pad is required. A rail launcher is a good idea and the bigger the better (within reason). The last thing you want is instability during launch.
