The Mercury is a small, smart altimeter that easily fits in rockets that are at least 18mm in diameter (22mm in it's default case). It is extremely easy to use and you simply need to turn it on and then fly your rocket. Designed and developed in house right here at modelrockets.co.uk.
After your flight, you can configure the altimeter WiFi settings so that it will automatically upload your data to the Altimeter Cloud for you to view. You can also view the data by connecting your phone or computer to the Mercuries access point WiFi, or flight summaries via USB Serial.
The Mercury offers plenty of data to analyse too, from the highly accurate pressure altitude to the 3-axis 32G accelerometer, 2000 dgs gyroscope and lots of calculated figures. These include accurate launch time detection, motor burnout, apogee, landing time and a log of the devices output triggers amongst many others.
Setting up WiFi takes only a minute and your device will then upload and show you charts of your data here on the Altimeter Cloud.
